  • I've always been someone with an active mind. ADHD and anxiety meant (and means) that are any given moment, I am thinking of approximately 6488 things at once. To best describe how my brain works, is to listen to a podcast at 2x speed.

And while there have been many interventions in the past and currently (therapy, medicine, ect), the one thing that has been invaluable to me is meditation.

Like many people, I didn't think I could sit still and clear my mind. But I have come to learn that meditation is a practice about acknowledging all the intrusive and rowdy thoughts, being conscious of what emotions they bring up, and not allowing them to drag me off in a 100 tangents.

So in my career of helping people, particularly young people, folks with active minds, and those trying to find meaning in life, I have felt that I have come to a place where this is one of the tools that I have that I can share and can really help people.

I am trained in Theravada Meditation with the the Path and am certified as a teacher of meditation.

I lead meditation in many different venues, leading group and individual meditation. If you are someone looking to explore more, have a place or group that needs a guide, or want to join an upcoming class or group, let me know.

  • Part of our spiritual journeys includes different life transitions. Creating personalized ceremonies and rituals can be a meaningful way to memorialize and share those transitions. Let’s work together to build something meaningful.

We begin with a discussion about your specific needs and desires. We can find items or experiences that are significant to you and your journey, such as poetry, music, or souvenirs. Together we can create a space that celebrates this transition and share it with whomever you choose.

  • What a wonderful time it is for you as an engaged couple choosing to make a commitment to each other. I have worked with couples of mixed faith, shared faith, or no faith at all. They all share the desire to make official their love for each other. Whether different-sex, same-sex, or nontraditional, together we will create a ceremony that is right for you.

We will meet to learn your story and wants for the ceremony. I will then create a ceremony for you using your ideas. I will arrive early on your ceremony day to coordinate with any other wedding professionals (photographer, charter, etc.). I am also available for rehearsals if needed.

There are many different aspects to a formal meditation practice. But the real meditation practice is how you interface with life from moment-to-moment, no matter what's happening. Especially when you are awake, which is pretty much most of the time except for deep sleep.
